EFR Course (Emergence First-Aid Responder)

Description

The PADI Emergency First Response course is a 1-day course specially designed to transform you into a PADI first responder, ready to act in any emergency scenario.

You’ll cover both Primary and Secondary Care, learning how to handle life-threatening emergencies like a non-breathing patient, shock, and spinal injuries, as well as non-life-threatening conditions to alleviate pain and prevent further injury.

Through practical exercises and role-playing scenarios, you will practise eight primary care skills, including CPR and rescue breaths, as well as secondary care skills, such as injury assessment and bandaging.

Prerequisites​​

  • Participants must be 12 years or older.
 
  • A ‘fit to dive’ medical certificate is required if you answer “yes” to any questions on the PADI Medical Form
  • A parent or guardian will be required to countersign the form & this must be brought to the session with you.

What Is Included

  • Scuba diving equipment hire, including mask & fins.
  • Safety briefing covering Scuba equipment, hand signals, water safety and the physics and physiology of diving in a simple and easy to understand format.
  • Approximately one hour of in-water activity including underwater games and fun challenges
  • Supervision and tuition with our friendly PADI Instructors & PADI Divemasters
